How often should I oil my hair?

There is no single rule that works for everyone. We recommend using the TYR Hair Oil 1–3 times a week, depending on your hair type and scalp needs.

Consistency matters more than frequency. Even one nourishing oiling ritual each week can support healthier-looking hair over time.

My scalp is already oily. Should I still use a hair oil?

Yes. An oily scalp does not always mean a well-nourished scalp. Use a smaller quantity, massage gently into the scalp and wash after 1–2 hours. Avoid leaving it overnight if your scalp becomes greasy easily.

Can I use this if I have acne or a sensitive scalp?

If you're prone to acne around the forehead, temples or hairline, apply the oil carefully and avoid spreading it onto facial skin. As with any new product, we recommend a patch test before first use, particularly if you have sensitive skin.

How long should I leave the oil on?

For everyday nourishment, 1-2 hours is recommended. For a deeper restorative ritual, you may leave it on overnight before washing.

4. Apply root tonic on a dry scalp focusing on areas of concern, preferably at night as an overnight treatment.
